Saya rasa Blackberry Bold 9700 Onyx ini juga merupakan unggulan dari produk-produk sebelumnya seperti Blackberry Bold, Blackberry Bold 9700 Onyx ini sendiri dirancang dengan desain se profesional mungkin tidak hanya itu, untuk type kursor onyx ini sudah menggunakan Trackpad tidak lagi seperti sebelumnya Tracball.
Seperti halnya Bold, Onyx mengusung teknologi terbaru. Mereka memakai sistem operasi versi 5, wifi, dan koneksi GSM berbasis 3G. RIM juga memperbarui BlackBerry messenger sehingga jauh lebih enak.
